Do you have spare some time to help in the voluntary sector, working with older people across Croydon?

Anyone can volunteer. It can be extremely rewarding and is a fantastic way to:

  • Meet new people
  • Gain new skills or use existing ones
  • Make a big difference to individuals and charities

There are lots of ways you can give your time to help others. Volunteer roles range include drivers, mini-bus escorts, office admin, telephoning befriending, kitchen helpers, centre helpers etc. By giving your time as a Charity volunteer, you have an opportunity to motivate and support people that really need and appreciate your help.

Croydon Neighbourhood Care Association (CNCA) Can Help

At CNCA we have a membership of groups, all supporting older people across the borough of Croydon. These groups provide services such as lunch clubs, coffee mornings, neighbourhood cares and church groups. Many of them offer a wide range of activities and outings in addition to their regular service.

If you are interested in volunteering, we can put you in touch with a group that would most suit you. Please contact us at info@cnca.org.uk and let us know the following:

  • What hours on what days you can offer
  • How many hours a week you’d like to give
  • What sort of role you would be interested in
  • Any part of the borough you would preferably like to volunteer in
