At CNCA we have the only complex befriending service in Croydon, providing befriending to frail, elderly, housebound people with complex needs and often a dementia diagnosis.  We support those very vulnerable clients to stay safe in their own homes.
Many people are more isolated than ever before due to the Covid-19 virus, and we are working closely with the Council and other community organisations to provide befriending support to these most vulnerable people.

We are still unable to undertake home visits but are telephoning our existing clients.  In partnership with Age UK and our member groups, we are providing comprehensive befriending support across the borough.  CNCA provides a telephone befriending service for individuals who are over the age of 65, infirm, isolated and housebound, with little or no contact with other people.  If you know of anyone who may benefit from our service,  please contact us to complete a referral form by telephone 020 8654 4440 or by email at info@cnca.org.uk.  You can check our criteria here.
