We do some unique work on a shoe string - help us provide a service where there is increasingly more and more demand.

We are an umbrella organisation that supports lunch clubs/day centres across the whole of the borough. Using the Volunteer Investment and Value Audit (VIVA) model, the cost savings to the borough of volunteer time equates to a conservative £3,372,970 a year!

Even after 20 years we are still looking to develop existing groups and establish new groups, meeting the ever changing needs of the residents of the borough. For example; there are two potential day centres/social centres that are planning on joining Neighbourhood Care, which have been developed to provide weekend services and services specifically for men. It costs money to start up such groups and that is where we come in.

Why your support is vital:
CNCA is a unique charity; we provide procurement and back room services to all our our groups as well as lobbying on their behalf. Our member groups set very high standards and we help them to achieve these.

Support:
Carers - Everyday 5,500 people take on a caring responsibility and each year such services as the lunch clubs help the people of Croydon take a break, but these groups need somebody to support them - CNCA.
